Global Diversions takes great pride in Planning Trips to Great Detail. This includes making sure the guests are informed on details pertaining to the intricacies of traveling abroad.
- Passports Required for travel. Should be at least 4-6 months from expiring
- Diver Alert Network or comparable medical insurance should be obtained by guests
- Global Diversions will book flights and stays (Travel Insurance optional)
- Destination Details and Comprehensive plans are always provided
- Deposit deadlines, payment schedules and cancelation policies clearly defined
- No Suprises
Trip Planning
Planning these trips abroad involves many hours of coordination, communication, and starts well before the trip itself. Usually at least 6 months or more prior to the trip.
- Destination” Meeting Details on Locations and trip. This is your chance to sign up.
- Departure” Meeting is strictly for guest and usually 2 weeks before departure.
- Trip details and prices are discussed during these meetings
- These meetings can be joined in person or by Zoom
- Once a guest makes a deposit, all paperwork is provided for review/completion
- Global is glad to assist with guest obtaining any Medical or Travel insurances
Flights
There are a number of ways Global Diversions books flights for our guests. Communication is the most important aspect of this part of planning. Many additional services can be arranged for our travelers, but we need to know special needs.
- Some travelers want to use their accumulated miles. (Sometimes Available)
- Special Seating. Communicate this early in the process
- Special Diets can be arranged
- Customer assistance such as wheelchairs etc.
- Shorter Trips. Sometimes available on request, Communication is key!
- Baggage Fees and weight limits will always be discussed in meetings
Destination Norms and Laws
Global Diversions goes to great lengths to make sure we provide the most up to date information on everything from local customs, current taxes, Laws in the Destination Country, and other special information such as currency exchange etc. But nothing replaces the traveler from doing a little homework in this department cause things can change without notice. All discussed in meetings.
