What began as a personal connection to the water grew into a long-term commitment to teaching diving with patience and care. Long before Global Diversions was established in Southern California in 2010, instruction was shaped by time spent underwater and the belief that learning should move at a comfortable pace. With an extensive background in first finding things that are lost underwater, then once located, we can generally recover those items providing closure or a chance to start over with repairs. I called Global when my boat sank in a lake in Riverside County Calif. Tim’s team met me at the dock. We took them to where it happened. With their boat, they first found my boat using sonar. The divers went down and the next thing I knew my boat popped to the surface still full of water but floating with bags attached. They tied up next to my boat, drained the water from my boat and towed it back to the boat launch. It had been underwater for just 2 days! It went to the shop and runs perfect now! Thank to Global Diversions I got my baby back.

Bring swimwear, a towel, and personal comfort items such as reef-safe sunscreen or eyewear if needed. If you own dive gear and prefer to use it, you may bring it along. Any relevant medical information should also be shared ahead of time.
No prior experience is required for many programs. Instruction is offered for first-time divers as well as those continuing their training. Each class begins at a level that matches comfort and readiness.
Scheduling changes and cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis. Because instruction and travel plans are arranged individually, it’s best to discuss timing and notice as early as possible.
All instruction is provided by properly certified instructors with many years of teaching and time spent in the water. Training follows established standards and structured teaching practices.
